require在英语句式中一般作为及物动词，其用法分别有：1、require sth 需要，依靠。2、require sb to do sth 要求某人做某事。3、require doing sth 需要做某事。4、require that + 从句，需要，要求。

1、接名词作宾语。例如：

Your presence is urgently required.你务必到场。

This job requires strength.这份工作需要体力。

2、接不定式作宾语补足语。例如：

He was required to leave.他被要求离开。

They required us to help them. 他们要求我们帮助他们。

3、接that从句(从句谓语动词should+动词原形，其中should可省略)。例如：

The situation requires that immediate action(should)be taken.情势上需要立即采取行动

She required that I(should)go at once.她要求我立刻去。

4、接动名词主动式或不定式被动式。例如：

These temples require repairing next month . 这些庙宇下个月需要修缮。

require的用法例句

1、If you require further information, you should consult the registrar.

如果需要进一步了解信息，请咨询教务主任。

2、The rules also require employers to provide safety training.

这些规定还要求雇主提供安全培训。

3、This isn't the kind of crisis that requires us to drop everything else.
